Job Description:

The Customer Service Specialist interacts with the customers via phone, fax, mail, and email to ensure that the customer receives their physical product, event registration, or digital resource in a timely manner.

Summary of essential job functions

  • Process orders for physical products, event registrations, and digital resources.
  • Monitor and distribute incoming correspondence regarding products and orders via phone, fax, mail, and email.
  • Answer general incoming phone calls.
  • Serve as primary or backup person for daily order settlement process (Day End).
  • Process Professional Development evaluations.
  • Other general office duties as assigned including, but not limited to, inventory counts, purchasing, event logistics, returns, office supply ordering, and data collection, recording, and analysis.

Experience and Skills:

Minimum requirements

Customer service experience, basic computer skills, attention to detail, excellent written and spoken communication skills. College degree preferred, but not required.
